This film features an uptight, east coast professor who heads to Reno for a quickie divorce and accidentally finds herself in a cowboy hat, riding horses, and riding a hot, younger woman. We’re talking desert metaphors, kissing in the rain, awkward fights in a diner, plus more. Even 40 years later, this film is still serving slow-burn yearning with a side of Wild West realness.
