Anna, a Cuban-American filmmaker, sacrificed her love life for her film career only to wake up at 40 realizing she has neither. After falling hard for the enigmatic Katia (Janina Gavankar), Anna decides to win her over by directing a lesbian remake of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? With the help of her best friends Penelope (Guinevere Turner), Chloe (Carrie Preston) and basically anyone willing to work for free, what follows is a bittersweet comedy with plenty of laughs, meltdowns, and bad decisions along the way.
