Se-mi wakes from a nightmare in which her best friend Ha-eun dies — and nothing feels the same after. With a school trip on the horizon and feelings she’s kept hidden far too long, Se-mi is determined to bring Ha-eun along. But jealousy, misunderstandings, and unspoken sapphic longing pull the two girls apart even as it draws them closer. Set against the fleeting innocence of adolescence, The Dream Songs is a tender, emotionally powerful South Korean lesbian coming-of-age film about first love, friendship, and what we risk when we keep our hearts hidden. A beautiful and heartbreaking WLW love story that captures the fragility of young queer love with rare honesty and grace. A must-watch lesbian film for fans of sapphic cinema, Korean queer stories, and coming-of-age romance. Stream The Dream Songs free for 3 days — start your Tello trial today. Directed by Cho Hyun-chul (2023).
