The short film Steady State (2022) by Alexandra Swarens is a 13-minute LGBTQ+ short starring Swarens and Elizabeth Manning. It follows two women meeting and spending time together while exploring the emotional dynamics of attraction and relationship tension. “The little things people love about you in the beginning, somehow end up being the things they hate you for in the end,” is one of the dialogues one girl says to another in this story that follows their meeting and tour of a city.
