A prologue presenting questions and concepts which Landon and Avery explore throughout the rest of season 1.

In present day, Avery and her sister get nostalgic, talking about the way things used to be and how time can change everything. Avery gets ready to meet Landon, 7 years after their initial meeting.

We go back to Landon and Avery meeting for the first time. It might not have gone exactly as fate had planned... Or maybe it did.

Avery takes Landon to a special spot. They introduce themselves to each other and suddenly, they're no longer strangers.

Landon isn't convinced that a stroll through the streets of LA, at night, is the best idea.

Avery gets Landon to open up and tell her about home, but Avery isn't quite ready to let Landon in.

Avery digs deeper and finds out why Landon is in the US. Landon explains her family situation and Avery finally feels comfortable enough to start to open up.

It's getting late and Landon and Avery are becoming more comfortable with one another. They've made it past the small talk and start to think about things that really matter.

Avery tells Landon her favorite childhood memory and anticipation builds.

Landon and Avery try and guess where the planes are heading to in the night sky and Avery talks about her plans for the future.

Landon finds out why Avery was in the building where they met. Landon tries her very first, and last, cigarette.

Avery learns that when Landon leaves in the morning, she won't be coming back. They make the most of their time together, creating memories at some LA landmarks.

Landon finds out what had Avery so preoccupied in the elevator.

Avery finds out what Landon was like when she was younger and they discuss some cultural differences. Avery wants to know what scares Landon.

The end of their time together is drawing closer, so Avery takes Landon to one last place. The silence in the taxi ride speaks so loud.

A visit to Santa Monica beach brings back fond family memories to Landon.

We hear Avery's true inner thoughts. Landon and Avery are back in the elevator where they first met, and experience another first together.

The time has come to say goodbye. They agree to meet back in that same spot in several years. Avery is left to play the plane game by herself... England.
